Fanny and his
mother – it was the first time in 13 years to see each other. She heard that
he died and was quite shocked to see him – but also very happy. A goat was
slaughtered and we had a feast.
|

Some of Fanny’s
family – they are from the Humbi tribe.
Fanny was about 7 when he last saw
his family. He struggled a lot to speak to them as he forgot their language.
|
|

Fanny sharing the Good News with his
mother and family. We discovered that there are no churches or schools in the
area. The only ‘religion’ they know is a little bit of Catholic rituals.
|

Fanny and some of his brothers – they were all small when he
last saw them – now most are married (some with more than one wife).
|
|

Fanny and his little brother, who is also planning to get
married.
|

The family looking at photos of
Namibia – they were very surprised at what Fanny has been doing as member of
the outreach team.

May 2006
|
|

In May 2006 we went back to this area.
Dams of rainwater were still standing everywhere. We spent 3 days with
Fanny’s family and also showed the Passion Movie to more than 100 people.
Many people received Jesus into their lives.
|

A school opened in the area and these boys are all in the
first grade – there are 2 teachers and 62 learners.
|
|

Jose and Fanny also preached the Heart of Man. Fanny wants to train his
stepfather (in white) to become the pastor in the area.

Prayer
Points for Humbi

- Bible and literature in their langauge – they have nothing.
- Immorality and polygamy are problems.
- Alcohol abuse is increasing.
- Pray that the teachers, headmen and other
leaders will all become Christians.
- Fanny’s mother and brothers/sisters. That the Holy Spirit will
teach them and the other new Christians.
